Allow a remote user
to set a specific IP
address
1. From the Start menu, select Settings, and then
Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Network icon, and select the
Services tab.
3. From the services list, select Remote Access
Service, and then click Properties.
4. In the Remote Access Setup dialog box, click
Network.
5. In the Network Configuration dialog box, click the
TCP/IP Configure button.
6. In the RAS Server TCP/IP Configuration dialog
box, enable the Allow remote clients to request a
predetermined IP address option.
